Update on Africa
Brad McClendon
Hello Everyone, I have tried to download a video I made for another update but I am having difficulty downloading it, so I am writing an update for you. The people here flew me to Pretoria and we had three meetings there. In the first meeting the Lord came in power and delivered a lot of people. Including one that had a lot of demons. The demons threw the person on the ground and made them writhe on the floor like a snake. I was sad to see this person tormented that way. However, I was glad afterward, because God delivered the person. The next day they held a youth meeting and the Lord gave a great sign to the youth to let them know that He was real. I touched a girls hands, and instantly oil started pouring our of her hands and finger nails. It was incredible! She obviously had a healing gift as well. It made the youth fired up! The next morning we had a Sunday service. The pastor (Ravi) got up and ask the congregation that if anyone was sick please come up for prayer. He then turned and asked the little girl with the healing gift to come up to pray for them. When she approached the front, the oil started coming out of her hands again. She turned around, looked at me with a big smile as though she knew the Lord had given her that special gift. It was so beautiful to watch God touch everyone. We flew back to Durban Sunday afternoon and started the Spirit School on Monday. Every night has been powerful. It’s as though we are having meetings with the Lord Himself teaching us! Thank you so much for all of your prayers! Jill and I are now in Cape Town having a few days off:) It is beautiful here! Love, Brad

Fire Conference – Cherkassy, Ukraine
Brad McClendon
Randy Strombeck and I just returned from speaking to an amazing group of young people at a youth conference in Cherkassy, Ukraine. This was one of the best youth conferences I have attended in years. Pastor Uri and Tonya Biviets of Cherkassy hosted the conference. They are some of the greatest people I know and their hospitality was overwhelming.
The conference started off with the youth leaders a bit nervous. However, this was to be expected by everyone. These young leaders did an incredible job leading us in worship throughout the conference. Randy and I spoke the first night on believing and walking in the Supernatural. The presence of God came and started opening the peoples’ hearts and many were touched by the His power. The next evening was something I haven’t experienced in years. In fact, the last time I experienced this type of power from God, I was in a Benny Hinn crusade. The room was packed with people and as soon as we began to worship the power of God fell. Randy went up on stage and started worshipping with the worship team and then began to minister prophetically to the people. As he was releasing words of knowledge for healing, people got out of their chairs and came forward for prayer. As they did, I leaned over to a friend that was with us, Pastor Darren Davis of the Harbor Church in Pompano Beach, FL., and asked him, “Do you have something from the Lord?” He smiled and said “Yes I think I do.” I told him to go up and share it with the people. When he got on the stage, he started to pray prophetically for Ukraine. It was beautiful to watch all the people pray for their country. It moved me in a deep way. By this time, most all of the young people that were attending were down in front praying for the country.
As Randy, and Darren Davis, started to minister individually, I walked up on the stage and worship came over me and I began to sing a prophetic song to the Lord. I felt the power of God’s presence start to increase in the building and the Spirit started to heal people all over the room. Randy started gathering some of the youth to pray for people who had crooked backs and their backs would immediately straighten up. We found out later that they had been diagnosed with Scoliosis and their bodies completely straightened. People who were contemplating suicide were completely set free from death. God literally saved their life! People gave their hearts to the Lord as well and received salvation. Most all of the youth walked away from the conference having confidence in Lord and in themselves that they too can minister to people and see God use them in a powerful way. All I can say is that Jesus Christ came in the building and healed, delivered, and restored peoples’ hearts, bodies, and lives that night! Thank you so much for your prayers and support. There is definitely an increase of power and anointing being released to draw people to salvation and to see their lives and bodies healed. The following pictures are some I took during the meetings. There are also pictures of the family that we lodged with while in Cherkassy.

Update on Ukraine Spirit School
Brad McClendon
I want to apologize for not getting the update on our Ukraine Spirit School out sooner. My grandmother died right after I came back from Ukraine. When I returned home, a couple of my cousins and I flew to Rogers, Arkansas to help my two aunts with the situation. I have just recently gotten back from the funeral and am now in the process of catching up on things that have fallen behind in the ministry.
On April 24th- 25th, we graduated 350 students that attended our Spirit School in Kiev, Ukraine. It was wonderful! We began with worship before we started the graduation ceremony. The Lord’s presence showed up and people started dancing everywhere including Randy Strombeck and me. We both jumped up on the stage and began to dance and prophetically declare what God was going to do with all of us and in the region. It was a great time. I have posted pictures and some video for your viewing so that you can get a better picture of what we do and who we minister to.
This year has been a great and prosperous year for the Spirit School. I think we will be all amazed at how much ground we have taken. There are two particular teachings and times that were highlighted to me when we specifically started taking spiritual ground from the enemy:
1. The teaching of “Kingdom Business” and being “Kings and Priests” on the earth.
2. The teaching of “Restoring the Fallen”.
After teaching the students in these two areas, instantly strongholds started manifesting within the students of the school. This excited me to go after it even more, because I knew that it was a sign that the Lord was taking ground. When you start taking the enemy’s domain, he will manifest at times through accusation, intimidation, or even anger to try to stop man from taking what is rightly his. We can see this example in 1 Samuel 17. Israel was about to take ground from the Philistines. Goliath (which represents the accuser of the brethren) came from the camp of the enemy and started to accuse the army of the Most High. The power of the accusations coming from Goliath’s mouth caused the army of God to enter into fear and they stopped engaging the enemy. This example happens continually with those who have been called by God to take back spiritual or natural territories that have been stolen by the devil.
Any time we start taking Satan’s spiritual or natural territory, whether it be our own or another, the enemy will always try to intimidate us to not engage him. Nevertheless, we are called to engage the enemy as David did in 1 Samuel 17:48. It says that when the Philistine arose and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the battle to meet the Philistine. This is the type of attitude God wants to convey to us. We run to the battle instead of away from it. When strongholds start to manifest in the areas that you are teaching, we should bring it down by continuing to train and equip God’s people on the “real” principles that can help them grow in the spirit instead of backing off and doing nothing. We need to continue to teach even if it means losing our reputation. This is what Jesus did. He went after the enemy’s territory and made Himself of no reputation. If Jesus made Himself of no reputation then we should not be worried about ours. We are called to fight against the enemies of the cross even if it destroys our lives and reputation.
We feel the Lord has given us a mandate to train and equip people in areas of the Kingdom of God and raise up a family that will walk in power in these last days. There are a people that will have power to trample on serpents and scorpions because they are living far above all principalities and powers and rulers of darkness. Darkness will be under their feet instead of in their heads. They will take their rightful inheritance that Jesus gave them through the cross and rule and reign with Him on the earth as He is in the heavens.
There has also been a transition in the leadership of the Spirit School as well. Before I went to Ukraine for the graduation, I was in prayer and felt the Lord tell me that I no longer needed to be the “point man” for the job. It has now been handed over to Randy Strombeck. When I spoke to Randy about him leading the school, he and I and the Holy Spirit felt that it was the right thing to do. A few days after the verbal transition we had several confirmations from the Lord that this was in order of His will. Randy and I are looking forward to what God is going to do in Ukraine in the years to come. Thank you for your support and prayers this year! I hope that you continue to pray and support what this ministry is doing around the world and in this nation. If you are interested in supporting us, you can find all the information you need on our website.

Update on South Africa
Brad McClendon
I am glad you stopped by to take a glance at what we are doing. Years ago, the Lord said He would send us to Africa in His timing. In the last few years the Lord has done just that. We have been traveling to South Africa the last two and a half years cultivating relationships with people that the Lord connected us with. There is a youth club in Durban, South Africa that is called the Eagles Club. It is led by Pastor Vernon David. The young people in this club range from 17 to 32 years of age. Last year they held a weekend event at a camp outside of Durban. The power of God came in such a way that people all over the building did not want to even move from where they were standing or sitting. One night we stayed up until 2am just meditating on the Lord. Since this move of God came, it has not stopped. Parents and young people are coming and getting saved and transformed by the power that is still resident in the youth building. Both Pastor Vernon and I feel we have a responsibility to train and equip the people as God brings them in. For the last year we have been able to equip and serve the Eagles Leadership from time to time through the internet program, Skype. Technology has enabled us to have video conferencing which has tremendously helped us to stay in touch with what God is doing. Next year we are planning to hold a two week training school (September of 09).We will start a school in Durban and some of the topics we will cover in our equipping and training classes will be: The Call of Man, How to Hear God, Walking in the Spirit, Dreams and Interpretation, The Value of Character, Kingdom Business, etc. We also will be sending teams that will teach in these areas along with other topics. We not only want to teach the students how to hear God and walk in the Spirit, but we want them to be able to start their own businesses, multipling and taking dominion in the areas God has called them. In 2009-2010 we will be planting more schools throughout South Africa and even in other African countries.
The video that you are viewing is not only the Eagles Camp retreat but also shows a tour of a building that the Eagles Club recently leased. They couldn’t have leased this building without the help of our friends from DaySpring Fellowship. Grae Rambo is the pastor. He went with us to help train and equip people a few months ago and felt the Lord speak to him to partner with us and Eagles Club, supporting what the Lord is doing. Grae is a man that truly carries the kindness of the Lord. Grae’s presence in a meeting attracts the presence of the Lord. I want to thank him and Day Spring Fellowship for partnering with us to get the job that God wants done there. I also want to thank our team members that have sacrificed their time and money to help serve in the different areas of the ministry and nations. That would include: Jill McClendon
, Grae and Kathryn Rambo, Jason Bell, Daniel & Nichole Turner, Daniel Weaver, Trisha Doran, Elizabeth Everson, Liz Stein, Jim Whitley, Mike Roberts, Eric Peyton, Lindsay Hutchcraft, Amanda Kitzman, Steve Burries, Randy Strombeck, Gene Strite, Vishal Jeteryan, Josh Bell, Rick Stoker, and Rick and Betty Strombeck.
September of this year we kicked off a year long Ministry School in Ukraine as well. I will be posting a video for it shortly. We hope you enjoy seeing what the Lord is doing in these nations as much as we are. As you know, when our ministry goes to these different countries there is a financial cost that we incur. The teams that go with us pay their own way. However, I am believing that the Lord will bless the ministry to where we can send teams over without them paying their whole way. If you want to help us in this area of finances, you can click the “Donate” button on our website and it will take you through the steps on how to give to the ministry. Click here to go to our ministry site
Thank you again for praying and visiting the blog. We will keep you updated of any future events. If you would like to get involved, please email us and we will prayerfully consider your request.
Grace, Grace,
Brad and Jill McClendon
