Scripture for the Day

Brad McClendon

John 18:38 says, Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no fault in Him at all.

Many find fault in a lot of things in their life. Nevertheless, when one turns to the Lord they see and feel truth and life. Then that which was in there heart that found fault, drowns into the love of Christ. The world will see that Jesus is Lord and proclaim it to His own people as Pilate proclaimed it to Israel. Look to Jesus and lose your faults that destroy you and others around you today. Love Christ and not your faults.

Scripture for the Day

Brad McClendon

Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times.

An old friend of mine said that if you can count five true friends on your hand before you die, you have done well. A true friend is a manifestation of Jesus’ true love in our lives. I have lost a friend because of the hardness of my heart. After I realized what I had done, I couldn’t get them back. It felt as though I had been separated from the Lord’s presence. I had to come to grips with my own heart that I had done this to the Lord. It was pain felt unbearable. Care for your true friend today, as you would Lord.

Scripture for the Day

Brad McClendon

Song of Solomon 1:2-4 says, Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth — For your love is better than wine. Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you. Draw me away!

It is clear that Love of God is much more important than the natural things. Natural things only intoxicate for just a moment, such as wine. Being in Love causes drunkenness forever! If man loses Love, he has lost everything. We should never lose sight of adoring our husbands, wives, and friends that God has put in our life! They are the physical manifestation of the kisses of God in our life! Get drunk today! Drink Love and live forever! Love Jesus!

Scripture for the Day

1 Corinthians 10:12-13 says, Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

When a man or woman is inspired to think that he or she stands on his or hers own initiative, he then becomes the nature of what Lucifer took on that separated him from God —- Pride. Even when we are right and have the right answers, we are only right because God gave us the answers. Being right doesn’t always mean we are right. Pride is a hot iron poker that is placed in the eyes that melts man’s ability to see his true state of mind and causes him to fall into the lowest dimension….Darkness. Remember Samson.

Spit And Mud

Brad McClendon

Who would have thought Jesus would heal someone born blind with spit and mud? (John 10) Could it be, when spit and mud starts getting thrown in our face, it could be the opportunity to see the glory of God. Could it actually be Jesus trying to deliver us from blindness the world has used to conformed us? Could it be Him causing us to be born again to see things in a whole new perspective? When the mud slinging starts, don’t listen to the old knowledge that you have been raised with, but listen to the Lord’s perspective. You then will be washed by the water of His word and be transformed into His vary likeness. No one will even recognize you, because you are a whole new person.
